A lot has happened since our last blog post.
We have said good bye to a few of our students who have moved and have welcomed a new student, Tenyka.
We had a 3/4 sleep over, where the students got to sleep in the big hall at school and had a ton of fun!
All students participated in the school cross country. In our grade 4 boys, Dylan, Bilal, Adam, Darcy and Jack placed in the top ten. Dylan, Bilal and Darcy placed in the top four and got to go onto Inter Schools. Dylan then placed 3rd and got to go to Zones today, where he placed 15th. What an effort!
In grade 3 boys, Jobie and Jaxon placed in the top ten. Well done boys!
Grade 3 girls, Ashlee, Emily and Hannah placed in the top eight. Well done girls!
Last Wednesday, we had a very busy day! Some students stayed at school and competed in a day of soccer against Merrivale and other East teams. Dylan, Bilal and Darcy went to Cross Country and The rest of the students went to Brauer to see a performance. Everyone had a great day.
We had a walk to school day where many students participated. What a great way to keep active!
The students all worked hard during NAPLAN week and celebrated afterwards with a picnic and games in our beautiful arboretum. What gorgeous weather we had for it.
So overall, we have had a super busy, exciting, mentally and physically challenging but rewarding start to Term 2.
